Sonakshi is a dual-qualified attorney with license to practice law in California (2019) and India (2013).
Sonakshi has a background in public international law and human rights. Prior to joining Triano & Byrne, Sonakshi worked with the UN Human Rights Commission and the International Labor Organization in Bangkok, Thailand on Business and Human Rights matters in the Asia-Pacific region. Sonakshi has litigation experience in New Delhi, India, having appeared in trial courts as well as appellate courts. Sonakshi also assisted Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament, India on policy reforms in areas such as decriminalization of homosexuality, juvenile justice, refugee protection legislation, and foreign policy matters. She currently works at a boutique litigation firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.
